holy moly it is february. time flies. with february comes valentine’s day. i don’t get too excited about the day of love, but it’s a good excuse for a nice dinner with my husband. being that i am not v day’s #1 fan, i don’t decorate my house for the occasion (maybe this blog will inspire me in the future, or maybe when i have kids). but others in blogland do, and they have some great ideas i wanted to share.
paper rose wreath by i’m a yarner (my sister-in-law has the original target wreath, and i heart it. now i can make my own. someday. maybe.)
“have a heart” strings by dottie angel via under the sycamore
felt rosette wreath by the domestic wannabe ( i will make this wreath. one day.)
lacy votive holders by martha stewart (don’t forget to use a glass votive, or a faux one)
crochet heart garland by a foothill home companion via design*sponge
pin prick art by our humble a{bowe}d (you can buy the template to make your own in their etsy shop)
aren’t they adorable? almost makes me want to decorate this year…but not quite (i have a number sewing projects to complete this month with too little time). do you decorate for valentine’s’ day? any of the above inspire you to?

Thanks for featuring our pin prick art!
i LOVE the felt rosette wreath! I may try and make one!!!
you should! it seems easy (but time consuming) and it is amazing. some day i will too to add to my growing diy wreath collection.
