this past weekend was a busy one that flew by, and the only thing that would have made it better was better weather. let’s reminisce…
my sister-in-law sarah, her husband mike and my favorite nephew jimmy came in town. i kissed this little face no less than 6,823 times.
early saturday morning we walked the american brain tumor association’s path to progress 5k in memory of my father-in-law. thank you to the friends and family that braved the freezing cold and high winds with us, and to those who donated.
the bbq we had planned for after the walk didn’t work out due to the frigid conditions and rain, but we did have a relaxing day hanging out, eating good food, playing some games and loving on jimmy.
sunday we said goodbye to our visitors and got down to business – working out, running errands, organizing and packing some boxes. we also did some relaxing, watching the movie the next three days – this is a must watch if you like suspense (it was so suspenseful, i think both ryan and i had heart palpitations).
(also? i love nail polish. the end.)
i could have used today off work to catch up on some sleep, but alas, i had a long day to start off what will be a long week. so of course, as with every monday, i can’t wait until the next weekend.
hope you had a good one!
